Ms McKenny said the jobs on offer are suitable for everyone, from students and backpackers to the young at heart who may be retired and looking for a new and rewarding experience.
“You might be retired or taking a grown-up gap year and looking to fund your around-Australia trip, or offset the cost of fuel. Or perhaps the kids have left home and you are spending Christmas on your own for the first time, and are keen to get out and meet new people and work in one of the happiest places on earth,” Ms McKenny said.
“With a busy season ahead, we are getting our parks to be summer ready. Working over the holiday season is an amazing way to meet new people and work in one of the happiest places on earth.
“Our park teams are dream makers who enjoy shaping people’s holidays to provide the very best experiences possible, while having the best work experience possible.”
“You are not just taking a summer job, you are joining a team of magic makers where happiness is the key ingredient.
“Our people are our most important asset and we are looking for a positive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn above all else. You will work in amazing spots, for a people-first organisation which lives and breathes its values of ‘care deeply’, ‘say it do it’, ‘make a difference’ and ‘grow together’.
The vacant positions range from ‘ice cream fairies’, ‘happiness officers’, ‘magicians’ and ‘nature whisperers’, otherwise known as Kiosk Workers, Guest Services, Housekeeping and Groundskeepers.
