From music-filled wedding receptions to high-stakes business meetings, Adelaide Marriott’s “venue menu” accommodates groups of 20 to 250 people, paired with Marriott’s acclaimed service, catering, and a prime location on King William and Franklin Streets.
The centrepiece of these spaces is the Sir Charles Todd Ballroom. This expansive, 295 sqm pillarless ballroom features striking 4-metre-high ceilings and arch lighting, ideal for theatre-style events or large cocktail functions. With room for up to 250 guests, advanced AV systems including a 220-inch LED wall, and partitioning for dual sessions or breakouts, it’s a versatile choice.
Weddings here benefit from Marriott’s dedicated planners and the backdrop of both modern and historic architectural details, plus an option to stay in the luxurious bridal suite in the Marriott’s 15-storey tower.
Other event spaces include:
- Archive Room: Seats 80, with a capacity for 120 cocktail guests. Flooded with natural light, this space overlooks King William Street, adding charm to corporate or social events.
- Light Room: Named for Adelaide’s visionary designer Colonel William Light, this intimate space, bathed in sunlight, is perfect for meetings of up to 30 attendees.
- Drawing Room: Located in the heritage section, this elegant room accommodates 20 guests, ideal for private dining and board meetings.
