One of the most anticipated additions to the Gold Coast skyline has officially been given the green light, with plans for Homecorp’s $210 million resort and wellness-infused Florence Residences set to transform the city’s architectural landscape into a bold new benchmark for luxury living.

Rising 25 storeys along the coveted Monte Carlo Avenue, the residential tower has officially received DA approval from the Gold Coast City Council, bringing a new wellness-centric living experience to one of the city’s most exclusive coastal and park-side enclaves.

More than just a place to live, Florence Residences has been designed as a holistic lifestyle destination, with an unprecedented suite of wellness-inspired amenities rarely seen in the local market.

Residents will enjoy access to a dedicated community wellness centre, complete with a resort-style pool, hot and cold plunge pools, a spa retreat, contemporary gymnasium and a tranquil yoga and Pilates studio. The project will also boast social and community-focused spaces, including a resident-only lounge with private dining and a rooftop bar, premium outdoor entertaining areas, a striking hotel-style lobby lounge, generous bike parking and pet-friendly perks such as a heated dog wash.

The tower will deliver 116 luxury residences, comprising 85 two-bedroom apartments, 27 three-bedroom residences, and four ultra-exclusive four-bedroom homes, including an elevated sub-penthouse and penthouse collection. Each residence will feature cutting-edge smart-home technology alongside premium appliances, sustainable materials, floor-to-ceiling glass and refined interiors inspired by timeless European sophistication.

“We are creating a skyline legacy that will withstand the test of time. Florence Residences has been designed not just with luxury in mind, but with a focus on community, connection and wellbeing, perfectly complementing the iconic Gold Coast lifestyle. Every detail has been carefully considered to create a residence that truly enriches the lives of those who call it home,” said Ron Bakir, CEO and Founder of Homecorp.

“The Gold Coast is evolving into a world-class lifestyle destination, and Florence is our opportunity to create a generational landmark – a project shaped by its stunning natural surroundings and designed to celebrate coastal living in every detail.”

With sweeping views stretching from the hinterland to the Pacific Ocean, Florence Residences is positioned within minutes of the vibrant Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise hotspots, offering residents effortless access to world-class dining, shopping and entertainment.

The project is the latest milestone in Homecorp’s growing multi-storey portfolio on the Gold Coast, following the success of Eve Residences in Labrador, which redefined luxury waterfront living upon its completion in November 2024. The coast’s landmark development went on to win multiple national accolades, including honours at the PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards and the HIA Gold Coast Housing Awards, placing the city’s iconic “golden mile” firmly in the national spotlight.

Homecorp also commenced construction earlier this year on the highly-anticipated $250 million second stage of Cienna Varsity Ridge, set to deliver 289 attainable residences by 2027 in the heart of Varsity Lakes.

Recognised as one of Australia’s leading residential developers, Homecorp secured a place among the Top 20 Queensland homebuilders in the 2025 HIA Housing 100 report and ranked as the 10th largest builder in South Australia this year. With a growing national portfolio spanning Queensland, South Australia and Victoria, Homecorp continues to deliver projects that meet the demands of a rapidly evolving market while setting new benchmarks for quality, lifestyle and value.

Florence Residences is set to launch to the market in the coming months, with construction expected to kick off in early 2026 and anticipated to wrap by late 2027. Early site works will commence later this year.
