Open 24 hours a day, the new lounge provides a calming escape from the city, with a considered balance of workspace and relaxation zones designed to support both business and leisure travellers. Daytime offerings include freshly brewed coffee, fine teas and light refreshments, while a daily happy hour from 5pm to 8pm showcases free-flowing beverages and artisanal canapés inspired by local flavours. New Zealand wines feature prominently, reflecting the country’s renowned viticultural heritage.

A central fireplace anchors the lounge, creating a warm, homely atmosphere that aligns with the brand’s “home away from home” philosophy. Sustainability and a connection to nature are woven through the design, with wooden finishes crafted from locally sourced timbers and fresh ingredients drawn from the hotel’s own JW Garden to support a garden-to-table dining approach.

Guests can also enjoy a rotating program of enriching experiences, with weekly tastings, artisan showcases and wellness-inspired sessions designed to reflect the JW ethos of nourishing the soul while highlighting the best of New Zealand culture.

“We are excited to bring the new world-class Executive Lounge to life for both business and leisure travellers — there is nothing like it in Auckland, which makes this a very special opening,” said Girish Talreja, General Manager, JW Marriott Auckland. “Our team looks forward to welcoming guests and showcasing the best of Auckland’s hospitality.”
