Stay somewhere with a story

Each Handwritten Collection address is shaped by its setting and story, with the host’s personal touch expressed through details that bring meaning and character to the experience.

New additions to the Handwritten Collection this year have included:

Hotel Rathauspark Wien – Handwritten Collection (Opened January 2026)

Set behind a historic façade once home to writer Stefan Zweig, this Vienna address offers a refined and intimate setting shaped by culture and heritage. Original architectural features and a thoughtful renovation preserve the elegance of a classic Viennese residence, just moments from the city’s cultural landmarks.

The experience is quietly enriched by a deep respect for history, where the spirit of the building is carefully maintained and shared with guests.

Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao – Handwritten Collection (Opened February 2026)

Located in one of Shanghai’s most connected districts, this address reflects a contemporary urban rhythm, with 360 elegantly designed rooms, expansive meeting spaces, and a range of wellness and dining experiences.

The host’s personal touch comes to life through a love of traditional Shanghainese pastries, rooted in childhood memories. This is expressed through thoughtful touches across the guest journey such as the recreation of classic butterfly pastries.

Château de Mazan – Handwritten Collection (Opened March 2026)

At the foot of Mont Ventoux, this historic château offers 31 rooms set within a Provençal residence once home to the Marquis de Sade, surrounded by gardens designed for shared moments.

The host’s personal touch is centred on bringing the history of the château into the present, with careful attention given to architectural features, objects, and artworks that reflect the story of the property and its past.

A growing collection of experiences

With more than 50 additional hotels in development, Handwritten Collection is continuing its journey across the globe, welcoming new destinations and new stories along the way.

Next month, Treasure Island TI Las Vegas – Handwritten Collection will make its debut in Las Vegas, becoming the Collection’s second address in the United States.

Set within one of the Strip’s most storied hotels and home to the acclaimed Mystère by Cirque du Soleil, the opening marks another milestone in the brand’s continued expansion across North America.

”Handwritten Collection was created to celebrate individuality and human connection,” said Jean-Yves Minet, Global Brand President, Midscale & Economy, Accor.

”Reaching 50 hotels is an exciting milestone, but what matters most is the feeling each stay creates – something personal, memorable, and rooted in real experiences. We look forward to welcoming even more travellers into the collection as it continues to grow.”
