First look inside Novotel Sydney Cabramatta as key appointments are confirmed

Western Sydney’s hotel scene is heating up with the highly anticipated Novotel Sydney Cabramatta unveiling the first images of its new guest rooms and event spaces ahead of its opening in November.

Part of the newly rebranded Cabravale Club Resort, formerly known as Cabra-Vale Diggers, the 140-room property blends stylish design with modern comfort, catering to both business and leisure travellers.

Coinciding with the preview, two senior appointments have been announced:

Sam Fakih

Sam Fakih has been named General Manager. With over 23 years of experience, Fakih previously served as Cluster GM for Crowne Plaza Burwood and Holiday Inn & Suites Parramatta Marsden Street.

His leadership across IHG properties and deep understanding of the Western Sydney market positions him well to guide the hotel’s launch and growth.

Anthony Hoang

Anthony Hoang steps in as Director of Sales, bringing over 25 years of regional hospitality sales and marketing experience. His career includes leadership roles at leading properties such as Stamford Plaza Brisbane, InterContinental Sun Peninsula Resort, and Merperle Hotels & Resort.

Operated by Signature Hotel Management Group under Accor’s Novotel brand, the hotel is a central feature of Cabravale Club Resort’s broader transformation.

The resort now includes not just premium accommodation, but also a resort-style swimming pool, state-of-the-art fitness and wellness facilities, multiple dining options, and vibrant event and entertainment venues; all conveniently connected under one roof.

The launch follows the Club’s recent centenary and rebrand celebration, marking a bold new chapter in its long history.

Vicki Le, Chief Commercial Officer at Cabravale Club Resort, welcomed the new appointments:
