DestinationQ post-forum working group has been established to help implement the agreed actions signed off at the forum held in Cairns last month. Tourism Department director general Richard Eden and Queensland Tourism Industry Council chair Stephen Gregg will co-chair the group.
Other members include: Daniel Gschwind – QTIC CEO, Martin Winter – Gold Coast Tourism CEO, Ron Chapman – Caravanning Queensland CEO, Laura Younger – GM Australian Timeshare & Holiday Ownership Council, Mary Carroll – Capricorn Enterprise CEO, and agency representatives determined by the DG. The working group will advise the Tourism Cabinet Committee on the progress of key issues identified at the DestinationQ Forum.
