A new motel could soon be built in Bangalow on the NSW north coast.
An application is before the Byron Shire Council for a motel complex on the former netball courts site next to the Bangalow Bowling Club. The proposal by developers Jestermond P/L is for a two-storey motel and townhouse development on land owned by the bowling club. It would require a rezoning of the land to R2 Low Density Residential and SP3 Tourist Development.
