Melbourne Marriott Hotel
The Melbourne Marriott Hotel recently received a complete refurbishment of its hotel bar and added two new state-of-the-art boardrooms to the hotel’s already extensive list of guest facilities.
The $700,000 project began with first stage of the hotel revamp concentrating on the hotel bar. With new flooring and ceiling incorporating the natural elements of wood and marble, the Regency Lounge Bar – now known as Elements – introduces the warmth of deep natural timber finishes and engineered white stone that contrasts in masterfully clean lines that dictate and define the areas of the bar designed for patrons and staff.
One of the priorities of the design brief for the bar and adjacent lounge area was to encourage its use by outside patrons as well as hotel guests. Responsible for the design and architecture of the bar and lounge area and new boardrooms was Orbit Architecture.
