A new Space in the Industry
Space Hotel has announced the opening of their first hotel in Australia.
Located in Melbourne’s CBD on the former Vic Hall site at 380 Russell St, the original building has been completely refurbished and developed to now host 128 brand new fully appointed rooms, exciting entertainment precincts and state of the art lifestyle facilities.
This is the first hotel in a planned chain to be developed across Australia and New Zealand and is moments away from many of Melbourne’s major attractions, including the Old Melbourne Gaol, Federation Square and the State Theatre.
After nearly three years of construction, the property is now fully functional, hosting large groups, families and single travellers across the eight floors of 16 different room types that include dorm beds from $28 to luxury penthouse suites with amazing city skyline views. All rooms feature high quality mattresses, reading lamps and plenty of lockable storage space, while each of the private rooms have the added bonus of a flat screen TV and iPod docking station. For a more luxurious accommodation experience, guests can upgrade to rooms with full en suite bathrooms and private balconies. All guests have access to a range of amenities including the Internet café, stainless steel communal kitchen, dining room, workout room and laundromat.
