FreeSpirit named Number One-Family-Friendly Holiday Parks
FreeSpirit managed resorts and holiday parks around the country are celebrating the announcement that three of their holiday parks ranked number one in their respective states and another four ranked in the top 10 family-friendly holiday parks in Australia.
Darwin FreeSpirit Resort in the Northern Territory, NRMA Ocean Beach Holiday Park on the Central Coast of NSW and NRMA Treasure Island Holiday Park on the Gold Coast gained the distinction of being ranked number one in Northern Territory, New South Wales and Queensland respectively.
The parks were recognised in the annual ‘Holidays with Kids’ travel magazine awards, voted by the national magazine’s readership of over 600,000 parents, 61,000 online members and customers of Club Med and TakeABreak.com.au
Categories surveyed included activity programs for children, childcare and babysitting services, staff hospitality, accommodation, location, safety and family fun.
In accepting this year’s award chief operating officer of FreeSpirit managed Resorts and Holiday Parks, Yvonne Bristow, said the FreeSpirit managed Holiday Parks epitomised what families wanted on a holiday by offering outstanding guest facilities and quality services at a price that is affordable for most Australian families.
