Tiger Names new COO
Tiger Airways has announced the appointment of Andrew David as the new CEO of Tiger Airways Australia.
Andrew was previously chief operating officer at Virgin Blue, a position he held from February 2005 to November 2010.
Andrew will join Tiger Airways Australia on 17 October.
As COO of Virgin Blue he oversaw flight operations, ground services, engineering, safety systems, revenue management, network planning and guest services. Prior to Virgin Blue, Andrew held a number of senior management roles including chief information officer at Air New Zealand and general manager Pacific Airlines. He has also worked in strategic and consulting roles with Shell Oil, British Airways, IBM and NatWest Bank.
