Resort Brokers Adds to Sales Team

As part of its national expansion strategy for 2012, Resort Brokers Australia has appointed six new representatives to boost its total team to 21.

Russell Rogers will be responsible for South Coast NSW, Southern Highlands and the Riverina. Having operated his own complex and as a current motel owner, Russell has a firm understanding of how the industry works. He recently completed his directors course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

The Sydney CBD, Blue Mountains and Central NSW Coast is covered by Shane Wyhoven. Shane enjoys extensive sales experience gained working as an executive in the liquor industry in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United States.

In the Brisbane CBD, Resort Brokers will be represented by Steve Campbell. Steve spent 10 years working as a producer in the film and TV industries producing commercials for a broad range of clients.

Cameron Storey, with 12 years experience in small business management in the retail and service sectors, will be responsible for Brisbane’s south western suburbs. For the past seven years Cameron has been a successful residential real estate agent. Having owned two franchise businesses and a brother who currently owns a management rights Cameron has a good understanding of the business.

In Gippsland, Victoria, Resort Brokers will be represented by Tony Payne, an experienced senior executive who has worked in the fields of financial planning, business succession and insurance.

Peter Turner will be responsible for Western Australia where he has owned and operated the Exmouth Tourist Village and been involved in a number of tourism, residential, commercial and industrial real estate developments. Peter maintains his own real estate company and will be conjuncting with Resort Brokers Australia throughout Western Australia.

Managing director Ian Crooks said, “Our structure is designed to encourage all consultants to actively work together and network clients in order to achieve sales. On a weekly basis consultants are informed of new listings which are openly discussed with the objective of finding potential buyers from within each consultant’s respective area.”
