Sunshine Coast’s loss Palm Cove’s gain
Novotel Palm Cove Resort has appointed a new executive chef whose skills have seen him mentoring international chefs and mature aged students in the Queensland region.
After starting his career at just 15 years of age at Bella Costa in Sydney, Josh Close gained his exceptional cooking skills through his experience at a number of award winning restaurants including Sofitel Reef Hotel Casino Cairns, Tamarind Restaurant, Rydges Tradewinds Cairns, Novotel Atrium Darwin and Rydges Oasis Resort Caloundra.
Most recently, Josh held the position of executive sous chef at the 461-room, four-star Novotel Twin Waters Resort.
