Brisbane, Cairns to Get Taiwan Charters

Around 600 Taiwanese tourists will fly into Cairns in July this year aboard two China Airlines charter flights and 900 Taiwanese tourists will also fly into Brisbane later in July and August.

Cairns Airport CEO Kevin Brown said the announcement “re-establishes an aviation link between our two cities”.

Tourism Queensland CEO Anthony Hayes, said, “The whole of Queensland will stand to benefit from this great announcement as our Taiwanese visitors will arrive via Cairns and Brisbane but will have easy access to domestic flights into various other Queensland destinations,” My Hayes said.
