TAA appoints inaugural chairperson
Tourism Accommodation Australia (NSW) has welcomed the appointment of industry heavyweight Tony South as the inaugural national chair.
Tony is well known in the sector with a lengthy pedigree in the accommodation industry. He has a close relationship with the Intercontinental Hotels Group spending almost a decade in Singapore becoming head of IHG’s regional growth in the Asia/Pacific. Tony is also a former Sydney-based CEO of IHG’s Australia/New Zealand/South Pacific business and has experience with the boards of Tourism NSW and TTF Australia.
