Accor to Replace Formule 1 Brand

Accor is to can the Hotel Formule 1 and All Seasons brands replacing them with the Ibis Budget and Ibis Styles brands.

Peter Hook, general manager communications for Accor said, “From about the second half of this year you will start to see these products rolled out. We will see Ibis Budget as two star, Ibis hotels as three star and Ibis Styles will be three or 3½ stars.

“Where Ibis is very standardised, Ibis Styles will have a lot more colour, there might be wider range of rooms, the product offering will be enhanced.”

Mr Hook said the roll-out will take about two years, and will result in a total of approximately 50 or 60 Ibis hotels: about 20 as Ibis Budget, 25 as Ibis and 15 as Ibis Styles.

Sydney’s Formule 1 hotels at Campbelltown, Casula, Enfield, Sydney Olympic Park and Wentworthville are among those which will be rebranded as Ibis Budget properties later this year.
