MEA Welcome to be a Marquee Event

This is the inspiration behind Meetings & Events Australia hosting their 2012 conference’s welcome reception at a venue never yet used for corporate or business events. Delegates to the 25th MEA Conference themed Open Your Mind in 2012 will be welcomed at The Star’s newest nightclub, Marquee on 22 April and experience how a venue can be transformed to suit the event.
“We wanted to welcome the conference attendees with a spectacular show from the start and what better way than being the first corporate event in this amazing new venue,” said Linda P Gaunt, chief executive officer at MEA. “Our welcome reception is one of the best opportunities the industry has to network and connect with colleagues new and old; being hosted by an exciting and new venue, just adds an element of intrigue and must-attend-status, for any discerning events person.”
A packed line-up of interesting social events additional to the conference program is available. Other social events include Club MEA – MEA’s Got Talent quest 23 April at The Ivy and the MEA National Awards night – 24 April at SCEC, Parkside Ballroom.
The Meetings & Events Australia National Conference 2012 will be held on the 21-24 April at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
