Tiki Village Celebrates Refurbishment

Surfers Paradise icon, the Tiki Village International Resort has just undergone a $2.2 million makeover.

The apartments in Tiki Village, which is owned by Gold Coast-based timeshare operator Classic Holidays, have been the focus of the refurbishment with new carpets, whitegoods, flat screen TVs, wifi, blinds, artwork and interior redecorating.

“The units have a modern contemporary feel and we are thrilled to show them off to our owners and guests,” said resort operations manager Denise Price.

Public areas in Tiki Village, which was built in 1982, have also been upgraded as have the two barbecue areas, where tiles, tables and chairs have been replaced. The last major renovation was in 1994.
