Club Med changes the business of meetings

Companies can now split group buying-power into bite-size portions.

Club Med Business has just unveiled its latest offering, aimed squarely at companies who are unable to offer large scale staff incentive rewards, all at one time, due to enforced workplaces on 24/7 operations, or constraints of en masse staff movements, such as remote locations.
Companies in sectors such as mining, health, IT, automotive or finance are targeted in the new Corporate Rollover campaign – a solution to enable companies to reward staff and families but over a 12 month period – while still accessing the flat-rate contract buying power, of a large-scale group incentive.
When a company nominates the number of staff they want to incentivise in a 12 month period, they are then allotted the same flat-rate group buying contract rates (from $138 per person per night), to use in manageable blocks and as they see fit. This may include incentivising workers and rewarding their families, staff rewards, group executive meetings, or holding conferences, trade shows, company prizes and contests.
Figures are showing Club Med is even more popular then ever with the MICE market. This is evident with 12% growth, on year on year, for group business in 2011/12.
This growth is dominated by two elements; the newly renovated Club Med Resorts in Asia of Bali, Phuket, Bintan, Mauritius and Maldives, that are now inline with our upscale strategy; and the popular Rent a Resort concept, being adapted for large groups of 300 or more delegates.
