Australian holiday rental group, The Stayz Group, has announced its new app for iPhone is now available on the App Store.

The Stayz App makes it easy to search for holiday accommodation on the move, enabling users to search and book from its vast selection of holiday rentals of over 25,000 properties in more than 1000 locations across the country. Holidaymakers can browse interactive maps, as well as refine searches by price, number of guests, property ratings and available deals and special offers.
Stayz has seen a significant rise in those seeking to use their site using iPhone with 20% of its overall website traffic now coming from mobile users.
The Stayz App for iPhone marks a major milestone for property owners and managers. A recent survey revealed more than one in three Stayz Group owners and managers believe it is very important to be able to offer bookings for mobile users and almost 60% believe that mobile technology will have a strong impact on the way they run their business in the future.
Anton Stanish, Stayz Group general manager, said, “We are already beginning to see an upward trend in mobile bookings and in the next few years we expect to see a substantial shift in the number of consumers relying on their iPhone for tasks such as accommodation browsing and booking. Australians are increasingly on-the-move, meaning we need to continue to develop our offering to reflect consumer trends.”
Each property listing on the Stayz App contains detailed information including descriptions, availability, rates, guest recommendations and photo galleries, which users can browse to help them decide their preferred holiday property. The app also allows users to make enquiries and arrange bookings directly with property owners making the Stayz App a one-stop shop for those looking to book their next great escape.
