A Tweed Coast hinterland resort, Gunnebah, is for sale.
Gunnebah (meaning place of birth and joy) is near Murwillumbah, 50 minutes from Byron Bay and 35 minutes from Gold Coast airport.
The property, with a view of Mt Warning, features a thriving boutique retreat which hosts workshops for yoga, tantra, dance, meditation and spiritual development. The mud brick and timber retreat can accommodate 30 guests. It features a commercial kitchen, vegetable garden, 180sq m hall, sweat lodge, camping space, salt-water pool, outdoor shower, fruit trees and storage shed. There is also a five-bedroom home on the grounds with kitchen, dining, lounge, office and covered outdoor spaces.
Nicolette van Wijngaarden at Unique Estates Australia said the 15-year-old property was being sold through an expressions of interest campaign.
