Sheraton Revamp to Create Australia’s Biggest

Singaporean-based M&L Hospitality group is seeking approval from NSW Department of Planning and Infrastructure for a $150 million redevelopment for the Four Points by Sheraton Sydney.

M&L want to add an additional 231 rooms plus more office, meeting, convention and exhibition space to the four-star hotel. A new 25-storey complex would be built in Sussex St giving the Four Points by Sheraton Sydney a total of 927 rooms.

The redevelopment plans come on top of recently completed refurbishing of accommodation rooms, enhancements made to the Corn Exchange Restaurant and The Grand Ballroom as part of its $20 million upgrade.

The new rooms have distinctive modern additions with completely renovated bathrooms featuring walk-in showers, contemporary furnishings, state of the art lighting, wireless access and iPhone/iPad connectivity to delight the senses.

It is understood the additional rooms will make Four Points by Sheraton Sydney, which is operated by Starwood Hotels & Resorts, the largest hotel in the country.
