New GM at Oceanfront Resort
The International Palms Resort and Conference Centre Cocoa Beach has announced the addition of Tim Michaud as general manager to the resort’s executive team.
In his new role, Tim will be responsible for the oversight and management of staff, all food and beverage outlets and sales and marketing initiatives at the 500-room oceanfront resort.
He spent the last six years as the resort manager/COO at Captain Hiram’s Resort in Sebastian, Fla where he directed day-to-day operations of the resort, marina, restaurants, bars and meeting space, while assisting in the conversion of the property from a flagged to a boutique hotel. Prior to his time at Captain Hiram’s Resort, Tim was general manager of the Crown Plaza, Indialantic, Fla for five years , during which time he oversaw a $35 million renovation and helped earn the property the number 11 ranking in best hotel OSI for Crown Plaza in North America.
