New Quest for Whyalla opens

Quest Serviced Apartment’s network expansion continues to roll out as Quest Whyalla, the latest property to be added to the network, opens its doors.

The $11 million, 4½ star property is centrally located on the corner of Moran and Ian Streets in close proximity to the airport, Westland’s Shopping Centre and Civic Park.

Jennifer McDonnell, Quest Whyalla franchisee, knows the market well from her experience as the franchisee at nearby Quest Whyalla Playford. “We know the location and flexibility we offer is a key drawcard for those visiting Whyalla for both extended and overnight stays. On site we have conference facilities and a swimming pool and also offer Quest services such as pantry shopping, dry cleaning, local restaurant charge-back and business administration.”

Quest Whyalla has 56 studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom and three-bedroom apartments. Each apartment is fully equipped with kitchen and laundry facilities, Austar, WiFi and multi unit desk chargers.

Paul Constantinou, chairman Quest Serviced Apartments, said the opening of Quest Whyalla is a direct response to the region’s tenacious growth, attributable to the ongoing development of industries such as mining.

Whyalla is a dynamic regional community in South Australia located 396 km northwest of South Australia’s capital, Adelaide. Quest Whyalla is one of eight new Quest Serviced Apartment properties opening in the 2012/13 financial year in Australia predominantly in key regional and suburban growth corridors.

Jennifer McDonnell and Daniel Wilson became franchisees at Quest Whyalla Playford six months ago following extensive research into the local area. The growing guest market, their interest in the Whyalla area, the local community’s generous hospitality and beautiful weather have been key to their decision to add a second property to their franchisee portfolio.
