Maui-Mercure Link for Pamper Pack

Maui Motorhomes – Australia and New Zealand’s leading campervan rental brand – has partnered with Mercure Hobart and Mercure Launceston hotels to offer self-drive travellers to Tasmania the chance to day stay and refresh while on the road.

Campervan cruisers can now book the Mercure and Maui Pamper Pack which includes a hotel day stay at either Mercure Hobart or Mercure Launceston and full use of hotel facilities during the hours of 9am-5pm, priced at a special day rate of just $65. The Mercure and Maui Pamper pack includes a well-appointed accommodation room, complimentary in-room Internet, full day parking, laundry service, and access to online supermarket shopping.

Tassie road-trippers can place a supermarket order for essential supplies and snacks on arrival at the hotel which is then delivered and stocked in the van before they hit the highway again – ensuring guests get the most out of their hotel day stay.

Day stay guests can also benefit from having full access to hotel facilities including the fitness gym, restaurant and bar as well as hotel services including onward bookings, travel confirmations, tour desk and complimentary laundering of campervan linen. For an additional charge, services such as an interior campervan clean are also available.

“While our state of the art Maui campervans are designed for a comfortable and user-friendly experience on the road, a day stay at a Mercure hotel is the perfect opportunity for our clients to take a break, refresh and restock supplies before continuing on their Tasmanian road trip,” said brand experience manager at Tourism Holdings Ltd, Stuart Foster.

“In partnership with our sister hotel Mercure Launceston, we are thrilled to form this new partnership with Maui Motorhomes,” said general manager of Mercure Hobart Adrian Sampson.

“Our Day Stay and Refresh program has already proven successful with guests travelling on business so it just made sense for us to utilise our vacant rooms during the day with self-drive leisure guests too.

Camper-vanning around Tasmania is becoming increasingly popular with interstate and international visitors and so we look forward to welcoming more Maui motorists to our hotels this summer,” concluded Adrian.
