Hervey Bay Hotel to be Demolished
Hervey Bay’s historic Beach House Hotel will be demolished in May and rebuilt as a no-accommodation two-storey pub.
Warren Persal, who owns the Carriers Arms in Maryborough, will spend $6 million on top of the $4 million he spent to acquire the property from Norm Provan and a consortium last year.
Mr Persal has hired KP Architects, which recently won an award for best hotel in Australia.
