Council terminates contract for resort
The Eurobodalla Shire Council last week terminated its management contract of the Batemans Bay Beach Resort with the managers of nine years, Danny and Vicky Whitter of the Batemans Bay Beach Resort. An interim manager has been appointed.
Eurobodalla Shire Council said it would call for tenders to manage the resort.
The council’s general manager Rob Noble said the move was to “protect the council asset” alleging “significant breaches as to the terms of the management contract”.
