Insurer adds to medical team
Australia travel insurer, Cover-More, has further bolstered its medical assistance team with the appointment of Meredith Staib as general manager assistance operations – Australia & Asia.
Working alongside chief medical officer, Steve Rashford, Ms Staib will be responsible for the operation of Cover-More’s emergency medical assistance services in Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia and China (under the brand, Assistance Online).
Ms Staib is one of Australia’s leading emergency assistance executives, with more than 12 years experience across clinical and corporate sectors, designing, managing and delivering complex medical assistance services globally.
Prior to joining Cover-More, Staib was a consultant in the emergency health care field and earlier was general manager of the medical department at Allianz Global Assistance. She has also held various clinical management positions in Australia, and worked as a clinical nurse and flight nurse.
