Quest announces 10 new properties for NSW

Australia’s leading serviced apartment accommodation provider – Quest – has announced plans to build 10 new properties across New South Wales by 2014.

Massively increasing the available accommodation in key business markets for the state’s growing number of extended-stay business travellers.

The new apartments will increase Quest’s NSW room supply by over 70% and is targeting business travellers who spend an average of over four nights away from home for work.

Quest chairman Paul Constantinou made the announcement with NSW premier the Barry O’Farrell at the opening of the group’s newest property at Sydney Olympic Park.

“This year, we will commence construction at five new locations – in Albury, Shellharbour, Nowra, Orange and Liverpool. We will continue this expansion, with another five properties to commence in the following year.”

Quest currently operates 21 properties in New South Wales, providing accommodation to some 120 thousand business travellers. When doors open on these new properties, Quest will offer a total of 2365 rooms across NSW, hosting more than 200 thousand extended stay business travellers.

Quest will also open three new properties in Queensland, one in outer Melbourne, one in regional Victoria and another in the Adelaide CBD this year.
