Top level boutique for Brisbane

Kenlynn Projects intends to develop a top-level boutique hotel on the corner of Ann and Chester streets in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley.

Kenlynn Projects acquired the site for $6.27 million last week.

Chairman Peter Flynn said a boutique hotel, to be named the Lawrence Hotel, was well suited to the “vibrant commercial hub” of Fortitude Valley and construction could begin in the first quarter of 2014.
The Lawrence Hotel will have about 150 rooms, including 16 suites, and will “be five and a half star,” he said.

Kenlynn Projects developed the Novotel Brisbane Airport and has previously built apartments in Kelvin Grove, Teneriffe and Banyo.
