New top chef at Langham

The Langham, Sydney has appointed of Anthony Craven as the boutique hotel’s new executive chef. Anthony will lead the team at renowned restaurant Galileo and oversee all aspects of in-room dining, including relaunching The Langham’s signature Tiffin afternoon Tea.

Anthony returns home to Sydney after leading a 35-chef brigade at The Peninsula Manila having also worked in Dubai.

In his role at The Langham, Sydney, Anthony is charged with re-invigorating the menu at Galileo – an award winning Sydney institution, highly regarded for its innovative modern Australian cuisine and an extensive wine list.

Anthony has already made his mark by relaunching the hotel’s timeless Tiffin at The Langham, the original afternoon tea first introduced in 1865 at Europe’s original grand hotel, The Langham, London.
