Check-in.com.au is back in business!
Adir Shiffman’s ASX-listed Allied Consolidated has acquired the data lists and intellectual property of the on-line booking site for $35,000. And has started taking accommodation bookings this week.
Allied Consolidated have not taken on any debt responsibilities from Check-in.
Check-in.com.au was placed into voluntary liquidation on May 21 owing more than $4.5 million to over 5000 creditors. Check-in’s founder, Simon Isaacs, will be a consultant in the new operation. Some of the operation’s staff have also been retained.
Accomnews has received many angry responses from accommodation providers that lost money in the Check-in collapse that have been listed on the new Check-in website. Mr Shiffman stresses that any accommodation provider that does not want to be listed should contact him.
