Modular village ready for use next month

National modular building company Ausco Modular has started construction on an 80-person accommodation village in Nymagee, in central New South Wales, to provide a fast and flexible response to the accommodation needs of the region’s booming resources industry.

Ausco Modular won the design and install of the accommodation village to service the Hera-Nymagee project owned by YTC Resources following a competitive tender process.

Managing director Anthony Walsh said, “The village is based on Ausco Modular’s innovative, next generation accommodation designs. Stage one of two has commenced, which will be project managed by Ausco Modular in a tight turnaround, expected to be ready for occupation as early as August 2013.

“YTC Resources employees and contractors residing at the village will have access to high quality accommodation facilities such as private rooms with en suites, laundries, cooking facilities, a recreational room, office and gymnasium. This village will showcase Ausco Modular’s extensive technical, design and supply capabilities. Mr Walsh said Ausco Modular was leveraging its national capabilities to provide fast, efficient and high-quality building solutions to the region.”

Ausco Modular has been operating in New South Wales for more than 35 years, and is a pioneer in modular construction and hire in Australia with over 50 years’ experience.
