Oaks to roll out global distribution system chain code
Oaks Hotels & Resorts, a division of Thailand’s Minor International PCL and one of Australia’s largest apartment accommodation providers, has announced it will roll out a private label chain code – ‘OH’ – for the global distribution system, with the transition beginning from 1 August .
The launch comes as a milestone for the progressive company as it looks to further elevate its performance on a global scale, maximise accommodation visibility, grow its revenue and create stronger brand awareness in key national and international markets. The dynamic distribution channel will provide travel agents with unparalleled access to all Oaks Hotels & Resorts’ properties and valuable information on individual property features, ensuring travellers have every opportunity to experience Oaks Hotels & Resorts’ brand firsthand.
General manager of sales for Oaks Hotels & Resorts, Daniel Csortan, says, “This announcement has great potential to significantly boost our bookings and will act as a vital appendage to our existing yielding methods. The company’s brand new Melbourne property – Oaks on William – is on track to open on 15 July, with other properties set to open later this year and in early 2014.
