Mount Lofty House joins MGallery

Mount Lofty House, one of Australia’s iconic country manor houses and a much loved hideaway in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills wine region, has joined Accor’s exclusive MGallery Collection of hotels and becomes the seventh Australian hotel to join the portfolio.

Nestled in the Adelaide Hills amid enchanting gardens with captivating views over the Piccadilly Valley, yet only 15 minutes from Adelaide CBD, Mount Lofty House is perfectly positioned in the epicentre of gourmet South Australia. A destination within itself, the historic hotel and its award winning fine-dining restaurant plates up culinary wonders using the best of local produce matched with locally crafted wines.

Steeped in a timeless 160 year heritage, Mount Lofty House is renowned for its special events, conference and corporate retreat facilities. Now, as it joins the boutique MGallery Collection the five-star hotel is set to garner an even stronger local and international guest following while offering a one-of-kind Memorable Moment package.

Mount Lofty House’s Memorable Moment package includes a helicopter flight over the magnificent Adelaide Hills to experience the history of the region before an unforgettable vintage car tour to some of the Hills iconic wineries with private vat tastings with the winemaker. Return to Mount Lofty House and retreat to a private lounge for an elegant and intimate degustation dinner showcasing wines from the tour and exceptional produce from the Hills. Package includes accommodation in a Deluxe King View Suite, mini bar and breakfast.

Mount Lofty House boasts 33 rooms and suites with eight rooms in the original heritage wing and 25 rooms in the Piccadilly wing which have all been loving and sensitively restored. Additionally, the adjacent self-contained and individually designed Piccadilly Cottage accommodates up to five guests and the Coachman’s Cottage sleeps up to six guests.
