New GM for Sydney Metro
Metro Hospitality Group has appointed Earl Muir to the position of general manager of Metro Hotel Sydney Central, the group’s flagship property on the corner of Pitt and Hay Streets, Sydney.
In his new role, Earl is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the property, as well as identifying and capitalising on opportunities to grow the hotel’s leisure and corporate business.
Prior to taking up this position, Earl was general manager of Metro Hotel Tower Mill Brisbane. His extensive hospitality management experience includes manager of Marburg in Ipswich; a contract with Lockyer Valley Regional Council to open a purpose-built Conference and Events Community Centre; and a variety of positions with hotel chains Sebel, Marriott and Rydges.
