Banyan looking at Margaret River
Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts’s chief executive Abid Butt said his company is investigating the possibility but reportedly plans to build a resort of about 200 rooms and suites in the Margaret River region of WA.
The boss of the Singapore-based resort chain said, “We are keen to explore opportunities in key destinations such as Sydney, Gold Coast, Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne,” he said.
Banyan Tree operates in the boutique resort, residences and spa industry with more than 29 locations worldwide.
