Lend Lease has lodged a development application for a 38 storey single tower for Sydney’s International Convention Centre with as few as 656 guest rooms.
Originally a 900-room, twin tower complex was planned for the site but community objections to loss of water views and shadowing have resulted in a review by Lend Lease.
Construction is expected to begin late next year with an opening date in late 2016.
