Aussie site powers airport’s hotel service
Hotel price comparison website, HotelsCombined, today [11 November] announced a new partnership with Sydney Airport to power its online accommodation search.
Now live at www.sydneyairport.com.au, the HotelsCombined-powered platform allows visitors to the Sydney Airport homepage to easily search and compare hundreds of top travel sites at once to find the best hotel price and availability at any given time. This is the first time that Australia’s largest airport has provided a hotel service to its website users.
The technology extracts live rates and availability for more than 400,000 hotels worldwide (over 500 of which are located within Sydney), and users can simply click through to the site they wish to book with.

The hotel price comparison service also provides location data, extensive refined search options and aggregated review data to assist browsers to select accommodation at their destination.
The announcement follows a series of new partnership deals with HotelsCombined, including the partnership with all-in-one travel app Desti, a supplier agreement with Indonesia’s leading travel reservation centre Tiket.com and an affiliate partnership with Australian media company Breakaway for a Tour de France app.
