New motel for Great Ocean Rd
A $5 million 40-room motel and restaurant resort is being proposed for Peterborough on the Great Ocean Rd in Victoria.
A development plan has been lodged by developer Peter Hunt with Moyne Shire for a two-storey motel and single-level restaurant, as well as a gym and pool. The design is by Dean Picken.
Peterborough’s motel and one caravan park closed down in the last 18 months.
Mr Hunt said, “There’s no accommodation for people other than the caravan park.”
The motel will also cater for weddings and functions.
