Crown plans another casino hotel in Melbourne
Yet another five-star hotel is planned for Melbourne and it could be higher than the Eureka Tower.
Casino operator Crown is negotiating with developer Schiavello Group to operate a 400-room hotel in Australia’s second-tallest building.
The 84-level Queensbridge Tower would sit 8m above Eureka and house 626 apartments, 1165 car parks, a sky lounge and would be connected to the casino by a translucent glass bridge.
State planning minister Matthew Guy said his department was considering the permit application.
