Real-time translation a new reality for concierge app Alice
Concierge app Alice has uncovered plans to distribute a new translation feature that will enable communication between providers and foreign language speaking guests.
President of Alice, Alex Shashou said: “At ALICE, we are obsessed with the simplification of service and breaking down barriers that exist in hotels. Barriers between guest and staff, between silo’d departments and between properties within a hotel group.
“With the latest releases of our languages solution, we are proud to be able to breakdown further barriers to service; those between international guests and a diverse staff team who will be able to communicate seamlessly in their native language.”
The feature works in real-time, which the app creators have claimed is an industry first. It will be on displat during this week’s HiTec conference in Austin, Texas. We have two journalists attending the conference so stay tuned for updates on this and more.
