Four-star hotel for South Brisbane
Liu Hung Chen & Chiu Partnership is seeking a DA to build a four-star hotel in South Brisbane.
Designed by NRA, the 11 storey hotel in Cordelia St will consist of 238 hotel rooms in total, 200 of standard hotel rooms and 38 suites.
The development also includes a function room, office, café, restaurant and pool deck.
The development will provide additional choice and variety in tourist accommodation in close proximity to various key tourist destinations including the entertainment, retail and cultural precincts of South Bank as well as being located only 1km from the CBD.
The proposed 4 star hotel will also cater towards business travellers given its proximity to the Brisbane Convention Centre and other business destinations within the immediate area.
It is not yet known what hotel brand will be going into the development.
