Jupiters event initiates $345 million redevelopment
The sod-turning for the six-star 17-storey hotel tower at the front of the existing property will take place at 9.30am at Jupiters Cove – front of Broadbeach Island.
Echo Entertainment Chairman John O’Neill, Echo Entertainment CEO Matt Bekier and Echo Entertainment Managing Director Queensland Geoff Hogg, will be joined by some dignitaries on Monday in a ceremony to mark the commencement of work on the centrepiece of the Jupiters Hotel and Casino transformation.
Significant updates regarding the development will also be announced on the day.
The all-suite tower is part of a $345 million redevelopment of the iconic Gold Coast property and is designed to re-establish it as a world-class attraction in one of Australia’s most popular tourist destinations.
