Wyndham Sydney celebrates 10-Year anniversary
Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific Sydney is celebrating its 10th anniversary next month.
The CBD property was the first urban hotel in the Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific (formerly Trendwest) portfolio, for the use of vacation owners and guests of the WorldMark South Pacific Club by Wyndham.
The hotel, which is located on Wentworth Ave, was purchased in August 2005 and welcomed its first WorldMark South Pacific Club owners on October 1, 2005.
It has since grown to become one of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific’s most popular properties, running at 90% occupancy rates year round. More than 30,000 people chose to holiday at Wyndham Sydney in 2014 and in excess of 20,000 have stayed at the property so far in 2015.
President and Managing Director of Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific, Barry Robinson, said the 10-year anniversary was a significant achievement.
“Wyndham Sydney is a fantastic hotel that remains as popular today as it was the day it opened for operation,” Mr Robinson said. In the highly competitive Sydney hotel market, Wyndham Sydney has become known for its excellent customer service and friendly staff, which have made it a favourite among vacation owners and guests for many years.
The anniversary coincides with Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific welcoming the 50,000th vacation owner to its WorldMark South Pacific Club, as well as the company’s 15th birthday, in 2015.
