Hosted Buyers for AIME 2016 invited to apply
The AIME Hosted Buyer portal is now open, inviting applications for Hosted Buyers to attend the 24th Asia-Pacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME), 23 – 24 February 2016 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre.
AIME offers Hosted Buyers the opportunity to meet with more than 600 Australian and international suppliers from five continents, build networks with a community of 4,000-plus event professionals and be inspired to deliver outstanding meetings and events.
Applications are invited from those responsible for managing, organising or influencing business events, business travel, conferences, meetings, exhibitions or incentives, from Australia and around the world.
Melissa Casey, AIME Hosted Buyer Manager, Reed Travel Exhibitions, who is managing the application process, has crafted a package with key experiences for buyers to meet valuable contacts, build relationships and do business.
“Having listened to feedback from previous years, we have adapted the Hosted Buyer program to ensure both buyers and suppliers get the maximum return on investment from their time commitment at AIME,” Ms Casey said.
“Pre-touring has been re-introduced to the weekend prior to the event (20 – 21 February 2016), to save valuable time out of the office. And a new look welcome function, hosted by Melbourne Convention Bureau on Monday 22 February, will offer networking before AIME officially kicks off on Tuesday 23 February.”
