AICR is a non-profit organisation that stands for The International Association for Front Office Managers of Luxury Hotels.

It’s been going since 1964 Sevag was involved as a competitor then as a Treasurer for NZ section since 2010, Sevag was elected to be the President for Australia and re launch this prestigious organisation in Australia.

Re launch party will be held in Melbourne on 21st of October at Pullman Melbourne on the Park.

From 6.30to 8.30pm

All Front Office Managers are welcome to become members. Yearly membership is $200: The association’s aim is to choose the best Receptionist in Australia
Receptionist of the year competition will take place in Melbourne 28th of November 2015 the winner will represent Australia in Vienna for the title of best Receptionist in the world by wining David Campbell’s Trophy.

Objectives

To promote social interaction amongst its members and sections
To discuss common work issues
Encourage best practices in the front of house/hospitality industry
To promote and organise any scheme for raising and dispensing funds for training or educational or charity purpose
To enhance the knowledge and professionalism of the Rooms Division management
To work closely with various hotels, tourism associations, other hospitality associations and hospitality institutions from member countries
to promote tourism and attract young people to join the hotel industry and promote their career in Rooms Division.
Manage and run the receptionist of the year competitions in each section cumulating in the annual David Campbell Trophy – the international receptionist of the year competition.

Eligibility

The candidate must be a Receptionist (not supervisor or Duty Manager) and available to participate for the ROTY competition which will be held on Saturday the 28th of November 2015 at Pullman Melbourne on the Park.
The candidate must be a permanent resident or a citizen of Australia
