The Star Sydney appoints Melinda Madigan as general
The Star Sydney has announced the appointment of Melinda Madigan to the role of general manager, marketing and entertainment, commencing 11 January 2016.
Ms Madigan will oversee all marketing, communications and entertainment initiatives across the integrated resort, and will work alongside The Star Sydney’s Senior Management Team to achieve the property’s growth, brand and guest experience objectives.
Well positioned to lead the property’s marketing and entertainment divisions, Ms Madigan brings more than 20 years’ experience in marketing, media, public relations, sales, sponsorship and membership programs in domestic and international markets. She has held senior leadership positions at a number of iconic entertainment brands and venues, most recently at ANZ Stadium and previously at Crown Melbourne and the Australian Turf Club.
Greg Hawkins, managing director, The Star Sydney is delighted to announce this new appointment.

Ms Madigan is eager to drive the marketing and entertainment initiatives across the property.

Ms Madigan will commence at The Star Sydney on 11 January 2016 pending regulatory approval.
