Best Western welcomes Sydney’s new-look Haven Glebe boutique hotel

Best Western Hotels & Resorts has added its latest hotel, the Best Western Haven Glebe on 196 Glebe Point Road in Sydney’s inner west.

The four-star boutique hotel has completed a $2.5 million refurbishment to its 56 guest rooms and retail frontage.

The hotel has free onsite parking, 24-hour reception, a business centre and gym. While waiting for an onsite restaurant to open, the hotel also offers a convenient chargeback and room service arrangement with the neighbouring Glebe Cafe.

Best Western Australasia’s newly appointed head of commercial, Steve Richards, has welcomed the addition.

BestWestern HavenGlebe KingRoom“Best Western’s newest accommodation in Glebe will help ease the strain on Sydney’s overall room capacity, especially this week during the city’s Chinese Lunar New Year celebrations. Best Western Haven Glebe is a classic example of the high calibre of hotels joining the midscale Best Western brand. After being closed to undergo refurbishments, the property re-opens with brand new rooms, bathrooms and an exterior that fits in with Glebe’s local feel,” Mr Richards said.

Best Western Haven Glebe’s general manager, Shabir Satya said the boutique hotel is a perfect fit for Glebe, a suburb on the city fringe in the midst of renewing its urban frontage: “Glebe is a great waterfront suburb and extremely close to Central Station and Sydney harbour inlets. Bookings are picking up as the Mardi Gras and Vivid Sydney festivals draw closer,” Mr Satya said.
